If you are an attorney
Your listing was built from your public record in the registry of The State Bar of California. We did not ask you first, because the registry is public and a directory that only lists people who opted in is not a directory. What you can ask for:
- Correct something. Tell us the field and what it should say. If the registry itself is wrong, correct it there first — we republish what it prints, and the fix will reach us on the next check.
- Remove the listing. Ask and it goes. It costs nothing, we will not argue, and we will not offer you a paid product on the way out.
- Claim the profile so future changes come from you rather than from the registry alone.
Include your bar number so we find the right record. Write from any address — we would rather act on a plausible request than build an identity check that keeps people from fixing their own data.
If you are looking for a lawyer
Browsing and contacting attorneys is free, and there is nothing to sign up for. Contact the attorney directly using the details on their profile — messages do not pass through us.
Tell us if something is broken: a page that will not load, a link that goes nowhere, a listing that looks wrong, or anything that makes the site hard to use. Accessibility problems have their own page — how to report a barrier — but the same address works.
What we cannot do
These are not policy choices we could be talked out of. Doing any of them would make this site something the law does not allow it to be.
- We cannot give legal advice.Not general, not “just briefly”, not about your situation. We are not lawyers, and answering would be practising law without a licence.
- We cannot recommend an attorney or tell you who is best for your case. We are a directory, not a referral service: we show you the record and you decide.
- We cannot pass your case to anyone.We do not forward enquiries, sell leads, or take a share of anyone’s fee.
- We cannot sell you a better position in a way that changes the facts. Advertising is labelled, priced flat, and never buys a verification mark or alters a licence fact.

Response times
We do not publish a response time we could not keep, and we are not going to invent one. Requests about your own data — corrections, removals, anything under the privacy policy — are handled first.
